Global streets - Accessories round up

We look at accessories on trend from the streets for Spring 2015 - 90's inspired, Mystical influences, popularity in watches and the key item earrings...

Brooches - an emerging key jewellery item for both women and men, with styles ranging from homemade pins and comical motifs through to vintage styles, providing a way to dress up casual looks and adding a playful touch to formal outfits.

From delicate styles for a 1990's look or wider ribbon versions for a dramatic, dressed-up feel, the choker makes a comeback with the youth market. Layered with varying-length necklaces softens the look while teaming it with 1990's pendants makes it feel more commercial.

Keep your eye out for Cut glass and crystals this season - Take on a 1990's feel and combine with a leather cord / a fine chain or update this item with modern settings and sharper cuts.

This season a personal approach to jewellery remains important - fine necklaces, delicate pendants, ranging lengths and styles make this item versatile and more contemporary.

The long pendant is easy to style over knitwear. Fine decorative chains are connected to heavy statement pendants, while non-metal versions provide a modern update.

Still dominating the globe, Ear jewellery ranges from oversized and exaggerated to single statements and cuffs.

Lending an urban 1980's/1990's edge to their looks, festival-going youths wear large hoop earrings and oversized sleepers ranging from classic metal tubes to decorative versions.

Rings continue to be important, with midi rings and matching sets from simple silver styles through to vintage classics, eclectic mixes are key.

Rooting from the 1990's trend, nose jewellery is adopted across youth markets.

Coinciding with the launch of Apple's iWatch, contemporary and smart watches become an important fashion statement. Bold colours, technical details and masculine styling are all key elements.
